Abstract objective: to study the effect of self-efficacy intervention on the prevention of fall risk in obstetric patients. Methods: 100 patients were randomly divided into two groups. For the Control Group, the effect of routine nursing was studied on the basis of prenatal health education, examination and reasonable diet. For the test group, self-efficacy care and psychological care were given. Results: (1) there was no statistical difference between the Control Group and the test group. (2) by comparing the scores of psychological anxiety and self-efficacy (GSES) between the control group and the test group, there were some differences between the two groups (p < 0.05) , the score of obstetric patients in the experimental group was significantly improved after intervention. (3) by comparing the tripping rate of the patients in the control group with that of the patients in the test group, the accompanying rate of the patients in the control group was 60.0% , the risk of falling was 4.00% , the intervention rate of the patients in the test group was 92.0% , the risk of falling was 4.0% , there was significant difference between them (p < 0.05) . Conclusion: through self-efficacy intervention and psychological care, risk prevention and control can be effectively carried out, which has a certain value.
