【Abstract】Objective To explore the effects of application of personality colors compass in emotion management of post stroke depression patients. Methods 100 cases patients with post stroke depression were collected for this research and then randomly divided into the observation group (50 cases）and the control group（50 cases）. All of these patients were treated with normal treatment, routine nursing and Rehabilitation training. The control group were communicated with routine way. The observation group were tested their personality by scanning QR codes. Doctors or nurses obtained the patients personality analysis and found the corresponding character traits and communicating strategies in the compass，then communicated with the patients. Compared the patients anxiety and depression scores，as well as living quality scores between two groups. Then to evaluate the effects of application of personality colors compass in emotion management of post stroke depression patients. Results There was no significant difference of scores of HAMA，HAMD，GQOLI-74 between the groups before treatment（P>0.05）；The HAMA scores and HAMD scores of the observation group after the treating were significantly lower than those of the control group（P<0.05）；The GQOLI-74 scores of the observation group after treating were significantly higher than those of the control group（P<0.05）. Conclusion The Personality Colors Compass can reduce post stroke depression patients anxiety and depression effectively，enhance the rehabilitation efficacy of spirit and physical function and promote these patients’ living quality. Thus, it worth of clinical recommendations.
