[Abstract] Objective To discuss the effect of group acceptance combined commitment therapy on post-traumatic growth and negative emotions in ICU patient. Methods A total of 100 patients with ICU from December 2016 to January 2020 were selected as the research object. They were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group by the digital table method. The control group carried out routine nursing, and the observation group received group commitment therapy on this basis. The self-rating depression scale (SDS), post-traumatic growth scale (PTGI) and anxiety self-rating scale (SAS) were compared between the two groups before and after nursing. Results After nursing, the scores of the two groups of PTGI scales were improved, and the observation group after nursing was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05). The SAS score and SDS score of the two groups were significantly reduced after care, and the two scores of the observation group after care were significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Group acceptance of joint commitment therapy can help promote ICU patients post-traumatic growth, improve anxiety and depression and other negative emotions, and improve patients mental health.
