[Abstract] Objective To discuss the risk factors of relapse after treatment of bipolar disorder depression. Methods A total of 120 patients with depressive episodes of bipolar disorder from April 2017 to April 2019 were the study subjects. After treatment, they who reached the standard of recovery were followed up for 1 year and the relapse was recorded. They were set as the relapse group and the non-relapse group. The clinical data of gender and sleep disorders were compared between the two groups. The risk factors of relapse after treatment were analyzed by single factor and multi-factor analysis. Results Of the 120 patients, 28 relapsed, with a recurrence rate of 23.33%. There were statistically significant differences between the relapsed group and the non-relapsed group in suicide attempt, education, combined sleep disorder, combined anxiety disorder, previous hospitalizations, negative life events, and withdrawal methods (P>0.05). There was no significant difference in gender, age of onset, and marriage between the two groups (P>0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that combined sleep disorder, combined anxiety disorder, previous hospitalizations> 3 times, negative life event score> 80 points, and rapid drug withdrawal are risk factors for relapse after treatment of bipolar disorder depression episodes. Conclusion Bipolar affective disorder has a high recurrence rate after treatment of depression. It is affected by sleep disturbance, anxiety disorder, negative life events, etc., and relevant risk factors should be taken early to reduce the recurrence rate.
