Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of Kangfuxin solution combined with minocycline hydrochloride ointment in the treatment of chronic periodontitis and its impact on periodontal indicators. Methods Chronic periodontitis patients admitted to the hospital during a two-year period (sample inclusion time: August 2022 to August 2024; sample inclusion number: 86 cases) were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group (patients classified in this group were treated with minocycline hydrochloride ointment, n=43) and a study group (patients classified in this group were treated with rehabilitation solution+minocycline hydrochloride ointment, n=43). Compare the clinical outcomes and periodontal indicators between the two groups. Results The clinical efficacy of the study group was higher than that of the control group, with lower periodontal pocket depth, gingival index, and plaque index (P<0.05). Conclusion In the clinical treatment of patients with chronic periodontitis, the auxiliary use of Kangfuxin solution+minocycline hydrochloride ointment can further improve the efficacy and periodontal indicators, and can be further promoted and applied in clinical practice.
