Objective To explore the analysis of physical examination results and the value of chronic disease management for elderly rural residents in a certain area of Langfang. Methods A total of 455 elderly rural residents in Langfang area from January 2024 to December 2024 were selected as the research subjects. Health examinations were conducted for the elderly, and the examination results were analyzed in depth. As a result, 455 elderly people participated in health check ups, of which 423 elderly people were detected with chronic diseases and abnormal indicators, accounting for 92.97%. The main diseases affecting the health of the elderly are hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia and abnormal ECG. At the same time, the abnormal detection rates of serum cholesterol, blood glucose, blood uric acid, and triglycerides in this elderly population also show a high level. Conclusion The health status of elderly people in rural areas of Langfang is not suitable, and it is necessary to pay attention to the management of chronic diseases for this group, implement efficient health intervention measures, and carry out chronic disease health guidance to ensure the improvement of the health status of elderly people in rural areas of Langfang.
