Objective To analyze the nursing countermeasures of peripheral nerve toxicity caused by oxaliplatin in patients with digestive tract tumors. Methods 70 gastrointestinal tumor patients receiving oxaliplatin chemotherapy in our hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were randomly selected, and 35 patients were divided into observation group and control group respectively. The control group gave routine nursing during chemotherapy, the observation group carried out predictive nursing, and the nursing effect of the two groups was compared. Results The comparison of the two groups showed that the quality of nursing management and the compliance behavior of the patients in the observation group were significantly improved compared with that of the control group, the peripheral nerve toxic response of the patients was significantly less than that of the control group, and the quality of life of the final patients was significantly improved compared with that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The tive nursing intervention during oxaliplatin chemotherapy for patients with digestive tract tumors can further improve the quality of clinical care, enhance the compliance behavior of patients, reduce the neurotoxic reaction caused by chemotherapy, and improve the survival quality of patients.
