[Abstract] Objective: To explore the effect of mirtazapine combined with vitamin D on sex hormones and drug safety in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Methods: A total of 136 PCOS patients admitted to our hospital from July 2018 to July 2019 were retrospectively selected as study subjects. According to different treatment regiments, they were divided into control group and observation group, 68 cases each. The control group received vitamin D treatment, while the observation group received mirtazapine treatment. After 3 months, the mood improvement effect, lipid metabolism, sex hormone levels and drug safety of the two groups were compared. Results: SDS and SAS scores at the end of 3 months of treatment in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group (P<0.05). At the end of 3 months after treatment, serum TC, TG and ldl-c levels in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and the observation group was higher than the control group (P>0.05). At the end of 3 months after treatment, serum LEVELS of FSH and LH in both groups were lower than those before treatment, and the levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The total adverse reaction rate in the observation group was 5.88% (4/68) higher than that in the control group (1.47% (1/68) (P>0.05). Conclusion: Mirtazapine combined with vitamin D in the treatment of PCOS patients with selective antagonism to 5-ht to regulate depression and anxiety, improve the level of sex hormone, regulate the level of lipid metabolism, drug safety, improve clinical efficacy.
