Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy and safety of modified Zhigancao Tang in the treatment of coronary heart disease arrhythmia. Methods A total of 80 patients with coronary heart disease and arrhythmia in our hospital were selected for the study. The time period was from March 2022 to March 2023, and the patients were divided into two groups according to numerical sorting. The control group consisted of 40 odd cases and the observation group consisted of 40 even cases. Both groups received conventional treatment and reduced treatment with Zhigancao decoction. The cardiac function indicators (SV, LVEF, CO), clinical indicators (fatigue, shortness of breath, disappearance time of palpitations), and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the observation group had better cardiac function indicators, better clinical indicators, and a lower incidence of adverse reactions, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion The clinical effect of modified Zhigancao decoction is better for treating coronary heart disease arrhythmia, which can effectively improve cardiac function indicators and clinical indicators, reduce adverse reactions, and have high medication safety.
