Mucinous cystadenoma of the ovary is the most common epithelial tumor, with a malignancy degree of only 5%. Its main characteristics are tumor formation and development. In the early stages of the tumor, patients do not have obvious symptoms until the tumor develops to a later stage, when they will experience bloating and abdominal pain. In clinical practice, the most common are mucinous cystadenoma and pancreatic serous cystadenoma. The incidence of pancreatic cancer is about 2% in middle-aged and elderly women. With the rapid development of medical technology, the detection rate of this lesion has significantly increased, but there is no significant difference in its imaging examination and differentiation [2]. There are two types of pancreatic cystadenoma: mucinous cystadenoma and serous cystadenoma. In the early stages, there are no special symptoms, but they can be manifested as abdominal distension, abdominal pain, palpable masses, etc. It is easy to miss or misdiagnose during physical examination. Due to the different treatment methods for different tumors, preoperative differentiation is necessary to lay the foundation for the development of appropriate surgical methods in clinical practice. This article retrospectively analyzes the clinical treatment of a patient with left serous cystadenoma accompanied by fever, in order to determine the relationship between tumor and fever and provide reference for future clinical treatment.
