Objective To explore the impact of vulvar malnutrition combined with other gynecological diseases on vulvar symptoms and treatment options. Methods A total of 80 patients with vulvar malnutrition admitted between July 2023 and December 2024 were selected, divided into a combined group and a single group based on whether they had other gynecological diseases. The vulvar symptoms in both groups were compared to analyze the influence of other gynecological diseases on the choice of treatment options for vulvar malnutrition. Results The severity scores for symptoms such as vulvar itching, pain, skin pigmentation reduction, and fissures were higher in the combined group than in the single group (P＜0.05). In terms of treatment option selection, due to the presence of other gynecological diseases, more factors need to be considered comprehensively in the combined group, resulting in a lower proportion of surgical treatments compared to the single group, while drug therapy combined with physical therapy is more commonly used. Conclusion Vulvar malnutrition combined with other gynecological diseases can exacerbate vulvar symptoms and significantly influence the choice of treatment options. Comprehensive evaluation is required during clinical treatment to develop individualized treatment plans.
