Objective To analyze the value of risk management in elderly patients with hip fractures. Methods 86 elderly patients with hip fractures admitted to our hospital were selected from October 2022 to October 2023. All cases were randomly divided into 2 groups, with 43 cases in each group. The control group received routine care, while the observation group received risk management based on this. Evaluate the risk events, comfort, and satisfaction of two groups of patients. Results The total incidence of risk events was significantly reduced in the observation group compared to the control group, and there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the observation group showed a more significant increase in the Kolcaba Simplified Comfort Score (GCQ), and there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the overall satisfaction rate of nursing care in the observation group showed a significant increase, and there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion Risk management can reduce related risk events, improve comfort, and increase nursing satisfaction in elderly patients with hip fractures.
