Objective To analyze the value of hierarchical management of nurses in obstetrics and gynecology nursing management. Methods A group study was conducted on 18 nurses on duty in the obstetrics and gynecology department of our hospital from October 2022 to October 2023. They were randomly divided into two groups (digital random table method), with 9 in each group. The nurses in the control group received routine nursing management, and the nurses in the observation group received hierarchical management mode. The core competence, satisfaction and nursing quality of the nurses in the two groups were compared. Results Compared with the control group, the core competence scores of the nurses in the observation group were significantly improved, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Compared with the control group, the nursing quality scores of the nurses in the observation group were significantly improved, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Compared with the control group, the satisfaction scores of the nurses in the observation group were significantly improved, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Hierarchical management of nurses in obstetrics and gynecology nursing management can help improve the core competence of nurses, continuously improve the quality of nursing, and increase the satisfaction of nurses.
