Objective To explore the effect of solution-focused psychological care on patients undergoing colonoscopy. Methods A total of 100 patients admitted to our hospital who underwent colonoscopy were selected as the research sample. The patients were divided into two groups using a random grouping strategy: one group was set as the control group, including 50 patients, who received conventional nursing intervention measures; the other group was set as the study group, also with 50 patients, who received solution-focused psychological care measures. Subsequently, an in-depth and detailed comparative analysis of the nursing effects of the two groups of patients was conducted. Results Compared with the control group, the study group had lower scores in the psychological status assessment, and significantly higher scores in the intestinal preparation quality assessment than the control group. At the same time, the satisfaction scores of the study group patients with nursing services were also higher than those of the control group. The differences between the groups were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The psychological nursing intervention focused on solving problems can effectively reduce the anxiety of patients undergoing colonoscopy, help patients change their psychological state in a positive direction, and help improve the quality of patients intestinal preparation, thereby enhancing patients satisfaction with nursing services.
