Objective To explore the application effect of restrictive dietary protein nutrition intervention in nursing care of hemodialysis patients with diabetic nephropathy. Methods From December 2023 to December 2024, 80 patients with diabetic nephropathy who received hemodialysis treatment in our hospital were selected as the subjects. Based on the difference of different modes, the random number table method is used to group. The control group was given routine nursing and dietary guidance, while the observation group was given restrictive dietary protein nutrition intervention on the basis of routine nursing. The achievement rate of blood sugar control, nursing satisfaction and nutritional index were compared between the two groups. Results the levels of FPG, 2 h PG and HbAlc in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group. Compared with the control group, the observation group was significantly more satisfied with nursing service; Compared with the control group, the levels of ALB, PA and Hb in the observation group all showed higher values, which was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Restrictive dietary protein nutrition intervention can effectively improve the nutritional status of hemodialysis patients with diabetic nephropathy, protect renal function, optimize blood sugar control and reduce the risk of complications, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
