Objective To explore the effectiveness of pain nursing program for elderly osteoporosis patients with low back pain. Methods A total of 114 elderly osteoporosis patients were selected for comparative experiments in this study. All of them had low back pain. They were divided into groups by blind sampling. There were 57 patients in the control group and the observation group. Conventional nursing mode and pain nursing intervention were adopted on this basis, respectively. The actual application effects of the two groups were observed and evaluated. Results The experimental data showed that the VAS, Barthel, and SCL-90 scores of the two groups of patients before nursing intervention were not statistically significant (P>0.05); after nursing intervention, the VAS and SCL-90 scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the Barthel score was greatly improved (P<0.05); at the same time, compared with the control group, the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion For elderly patients with osteoporosis and low back pain, the implementation of pain care programs can effectively reduce patients pain, improve their daily living ability, relieve their negative emotions, and improve overall nursing satisfaction.
