Objective To analyze the effect of the concept of rapid recovery surgery on the perioperative nursing effect of liver cancer resection. Methods A total of 42 patients who underwent liver cancer resection were selected from our hospital as the research subjects. According to the principle of random allocation, these patients were divided into two groups: a control group of 21 patients (routine nursing) and an experimental group of 21 patients (perioperative nursing under the concept of rapid recovery surgery). The nursing effects of the two groups were systematically collected, analyzed in depth, and compared in detail. Results Compared with the control group, the patients in the experimental group showed a significant trend of earlier removal of abdominal drainage tubes and first time of getting out of bed. At the same time, their quality of life scores also showed a higher level. These differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application of the concept of rapid recovery surgery to the perioperative nursing of patients undergoing liver cancer resection can significantly shorten the time required for postoperative recovery of patients, while improving their quality of life, showing excellent results in clinical nursing practice.
