Abstract
Objective Analyze the effect of implementing continuous nursing combined with evidence-based nursing for patients with knee joint injuries caused by military training after surgery. Methods Seventy patients with knee joint injuries caused by military training who received surgical treatment in our hospital from April 2023 to April 2024 were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method. The control group consisted of 35 patients receiving routine care, while the observation group consisted of 35 patients receiving continued care combined with evidence-based care. The knee joint function [Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), Berg Balance Scale (BBS)], stride, and maximum pace were compared. Results (1) Before nursing, there was no statistically significant difference in the HSS and BBS scores between the two groups (P>0.05); After nursing, the HSS and BBS scores of both groups increased compared to before nursing. Compared between the two groups, the observation group had higher scores, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); (2) Before nursing, there was no statistically significant difference in stride and maximum pace between the two groups (P>0.05); After nursing, both groups showed an increase in stride and maximum walking speed compared to before nursing. In the comparison between the two groups, the observation group had a larger stride and a faster maximum walking speed, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion Implementing continuous nursing combined with evidence-based nursing for patients with knee joint injuries caused by military training undergoing surgical treatment can improve knee joint function, increase stride and pace.
