Objective To observe and analyze the nursing measures and clinical effects of fiber bronchoscopy lavage in the treatment of severe pneumonia. Methods 40 patients with severe pneumonia who received fiberbronchoscopic lavage were selected from the Department of Respiratory and critical care medicine in our hospital (sample included: 40 cases; Sample inclusion time: May 2023 to May 2024) was divided into control and experimental groups based on random numbers, and the number of observed cases was highly consistent. Implement routine nursing and comprehensive nursing respectively. The nursing effect was collected and analyzed. Results Compared with the control group (conventional care), the experimental group (comprehensive care) had higher oxygen saturation, lower partial pressure of arterial oxygen, lower partial pressure of arterial carbon dioxide, higher quality of life score (role function/emotional function/cognitive function/social function/physical function/general health), and lower complication rate (P<0.05). Conclusion Comprehensive nursing can effectively reduce the incidence of complications, improve blood gas index, promote recovery and improve quality of life in patients with severe pneumonia treated with bronchoscopy lavage, and has high application value.
