Objective To analyze and discuss the application effect of information management in nursing administrative management. Methods 84 nursing patients admitted to our hospital from January 2024 to December 2024 were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into an observation group (information-based nursing management) and a control group (conventional nursing management), with 42 patients in each group. The nursing work time, patient satisfaction, and nursing quality of the two groups were compared. Results The observation group had shorter material collection time, medical order processing time, and document processing time (13.52 ± 2.73 minutes, 8.17 ± 2.14 minutes, 22.15 ± 4.06 minutes) compared to the control group (P<0.05); The satisfaction rate of the observation group patients (total satisfaction rate 92.86%) was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05); The nursing quality of the observation group [operating skills score (8.94 ± 0.73), service attitude score (8.78 ± 0.65), sense of responsibility score (8.95 ± 0.71), emergency response ability score (9.03 ± 0.95)] was better than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of information management in nursing administrative management has shown significant effects and is worthy of widespread promotion and application.
