Objective To analyze the effect of humanized nursing on the nursing of elderly patients with lower limb fractures in the operating room. Methods 194 patients were selected for this study and admitted to our orthopedic department from March 1st to June 30th, 2024. They were divided into a control group and an experimental group, with 97 patients in each group. The control group received routine nursing care, while the experimental group received humanized nursing care. The ESCA scores and incidence of complications of the two groups of patients were compared to evaluate their psychological status. Results After providing different nursing measures, the ESCA scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, P<0.05, Analyzing the incidence of complications in patients, the experimental group had a lower incidence, p<0.05, Analyzing the psychological state of patients, the experimental group showed a more stable psychological state, and the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion In the nursing of elderly patients with lower limb fractures in the operating room, a humanized nursing model can improve patients self-management ability and reduce the risk of complications. This nursing fully meets the nursing needs of patients and is worthy of promotion.
