Objective To explore the actual effect of personalized nursing for patients with gastric ulcer combined with upper gastrointestinal bleeding. Methods A total of 80 patients who were treated in our hospital for gastric ulcer combined with upper gastrointestinal bleeding from December 2023 to December 2024 were selected as the research sample and randomly divided into a reference group (40 cases, routine nursing) and an experimental group (40 cases, personalized nursing) according to the envelope method. The two groups were compared in terms of emotional state, quality of life, incidence of complications and nursing satisfaction. Results After nursing, compared with the reference group, the SDS and SAS scores of the experimental group were significantly lower (P<0.05); the quality of life score was significantly higher in the experimental group (P<0.05); the incidence of complications was significantly lower in the experimental group (P<0.05); and the nursing satisfaction was significantly higher in the experimental group (P<0.05). Conclusion Personalized nursing is effective in treating patients with gastric ulcer and upper gastrointestinal bleeding. It can optimize patients emotional state, improve their quality of life, reduce the probability of complications, and enhance their satisfaction with nursing services.
