Objective To explore the influence of fracture rehabilitation nursing combined with functional exercise on patients. Methods Eighty patients with fractures in our hospital from December 2022 to December 2024 were selected and divided into two groups based on the nursing methods. There were 40 cases in the routine care group who received routine care, and 40 cases in the combined care group who received fracture rehabilitation care combined with functional exercises. The clinical efficacy, fracture rehabilitation situation, postoperative pain degree, psychological state, daily living ability, quality of life and comfort level of the two groups were statistically analyzed. Results The comfort level of the combined nursing group was higher than that of the normal nursing group (P<0.05), the time of getting out of bed for exercise, hospitalization and fracture healing was shorter than that of the normal nursing group (P<0.05), the postoperative pain score was lower than that of the normal nursing group (P<0.05), and the anxiety and depression scores were both lower than those of the normal nursing group (P<0.05). The BI score, physical pain, physiological function, health status, mental health, emotional function, social function score and comfort level were all higher than those of the normal care group (P<0.05). Conclusion Fracture rehabilitation nursing combined with functional exercise can accelerate the fracture rehabilitation speed of patients more effectively than routine nursing.
