[Abstract] Objective: To observe and analyze the effect of MRS imaging in the auxiliary diagnosis of depression. Methods: 74 patients with depression were selected from January 2016 to December 2019, and 74 patients were selected as the experimental group, and 74 healthy physical examination patients were selected as the reference group. All objects were examined by MRS imaging. The results of the analysis of metabolites in the hippocampus of the reference group and the experimental group were compared. Results: the data of cho/cr, naa/cr and naa/cr metabolites in the bilateral frontal cortex and hippocampus showed that the differences were significant, which met the statistical requirements (P < 0.05); the differences of other metabolites in DNA were small and met the statistical requirements (P > 0.05). Conclusion: the effect of MRS imaging features in the assistant diagnosis of depression is significant, and it can be further extended.
