[Abstract] Objective: to analyze the correlation between perioperative anxiety, social support and sleep quality in patients with brain tumor. Methods: 100 cases of brain tumor patients in our hospital from January 2018 to January 2020 were selected. SAS (self rating Anxiety Scale) was used to assess the degree of anxiety, SSRs (Social Support Scale) was used to assess the degree of social support, PSQI (Pittsburgh sleep quality index) was used to assess the sleep quality of patients. The scores of SSRs and PSQI in different anxiety groups were compared The SAS score and PSQI score of different social support groups were compared, and the correlation between SAS score and SSRs score and PSQI score was analyzed by Pearson. Results: the SSRs score of severe anxiety group was lower than that of moderate anxiety group, and the SSRs score of moderate anxiety group was lower than that of mild anxiety group, P < 0.05. PSQI score of severe anxiety group was higher than that of moderate anxiety group, PSQI score of moderate anxiety group was higher than that of mild anxiety group, P < 0.05. The SAS and PSQI scores of the low social support group were higher than those of the middle social support group, and the SAS and PSQI scores of the middle social support group were higher than those of the high social support group, P < 0.05. SAS score of poor sleep quality group was higher than that of general group, SAS score of general group was higher than that of good group, SAS score of good group was higher than that of very good group, P<0.05. The SSRs score of the poor group was lower than that of the general group, the SSRs score of the general group was lower than that of the good group, and the SSRs score of the good group was lower than that of the very good group, P<0.05. SAS score was negatively correlated with SSRs score, and positively correlated with PSQI score, P<0.05. Conclusion: there is a negative correlation between anxiety and social support, and a positive correlation between anxiety and sleep quality in brain tumor patients during perioperative period. Enough social support should be given according to individual differences, so as to reduce anxiety and improve sleep quality.
