This paper explores the multimodal transformation mechanism of energy and electricity texts from the perspective of eco-translatology, focusing on the international communication of "Belt and Road" energy projects. Taking official website texts, multilingual promotional videos, and technical manuals of the projects as corpus, the study analyzes multimodal transformation strategies in linguistic, cultural, and communicative dimensions based on the "three-dimensional transformation" theoretical framework. The results show that terminology standardization is the foundation of linguistic dimension transformation; visual symbols have significantly better cross-cultural adaptability than textual symbols in the cultural dimension; and the communicative dimension needs to dynamically adjust the weight of modalities according to audience characteristics. The study verifies the systematic guiding value of eco-translatology for multimodal transformation, confirming that multimodal translation can effectively enhance the cross-cultural communication effect of energy and electricity publicity, providing practical paths and theoretical references for the international communication of technical texts in "Belt and Road" projects.
