[Abstract] Objective: To analyze the influence of psychological nursing on mental state and quality of life after heart valve replacement in patients with RHD. Methods: 106 RHD patients who received heart valve replacement in our hospital from December 2018 to December 2020 were selected and divided into two groups according to the "random number table". 53 patients in the control group were given routine nursing, while 53 patients in the observation group were given psychological nursing on the basis of the control group. HAMA score, HAMD score, medication compliance and gqol-74 score were compared between the two groups. Results: the HAMA score and HAMD score of the observation group after nursing were lower than those of the control group, P < 0.05 (the differences were statistically significant). The medication compliance of the observation group (96.23%) was higher than that of the control group (73.58%). The gqol-74 score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group after nursing, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: psychological nursing can effectively reduce the adverse emotions of RHD patients after heart valve replacement, and improve the medication compliance and quality of life.
