Improving the effectiveness of large-class ideological and political education in colleges and universities is a key issue in fulfilling the fundamental task of cultivating moral character and educating people. Current teaching faces challenges such as lack of student interest, generalized teaching content, monotonous methods, and a disconnect between teaching and practice. To address these issues, innovative approaches from multiple dimensions are needed. Through technological integration, resource collaboration, and innovative methods, large-class teaching can significantly enhance engagement and effectiveness, providing support for cultivating new talent for the modern era. Drawing on the authors own teaching experience, this article systematically examines the existing issues in large-class ideological and political education, explores measures to improve its effectiveness, and explores innovative practices to strengthen classroom management in large classes.
