[Abstract] Objective: to analyze the effect of sertraline combined with cognitive behavioral therapy on postpartum depression (PPD). Methods: from November 2018 to November 2020, 46 cases of PPD puerpera who received sertraline treatment were selected as the control group, and 46 cases of PPD puerpera who received sertraline treatment on the basis of the control group were selected as the observation group. Results: (1) there was no significant difference in sleep quality between the two groups before treatment, P> 0.05; after treatment, the sleep quality score of the observation group was higher, P<0.05; (2) there was no significant difference in cognitive function, postpartum depression state and social function score between the two groups at 14 days postpartum, P>0.05; the cognitive function, postpartum depression state and social function score of the observation group at 42 days postpartum and 3 months postpartum were better than those of the control group (3) 3 cases in the observation group were invalid (6.52%), 10 cases in the control group were invalid (21.74%), P<0.05. Conclusion: Sertraline plus cognitive behavior therapy can improve the sleep quality, depression, cognitive and social function of PPD puerpera, and has significant effect, which is worthy of promotion.
