Objective To investigate the application value of cognitive behavioral therapy combined with early nutritional support in laryngeal cancer patients undergoing total laryngectomy. Methods Seventy laryngeal cancer patients who underwent total laryngectomy admitted to our hospital from March 2022 to February 2024 were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, each with 35 cases. Routine nursing care, cognitive behavioral nursing combined with early nutritional support were implemented in the control group and observation group, respectively. Results In terms of nursing satisfaction, the observation group was 94.28%, and the control group was 77.14%, and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group, which was statistically significant (P < 0.05); Conclusion cognitive-behavioral therapy combined with early nutritional support can effectively satisfy the physiological and psychological needs of patients with laryngeal cancer undergoing total laryngectomy, provide comprehensive and personalized nursing care, and enhance the patients trust and satisfaction in the treatment team. This nursing model has important clinical application value by enhancing patients nursing experience, promoting rehabilitation, enhancing nursing satisfaction, and promoting overall health recovery.
