Objective To explore the effect of preoperative psychological intervention nursing on thyroid cancer surgery. Methods The baseline information of 1118 patients with thyroid cancer who were admitted to our hospital for surgical treatment between March 2023 and March 2024 was retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into an observation group (n=559; preoperative psychological intervention nursing + routine nursing) and a control group (n=559; routine nursing) by using the quantum random number generation method. The blood pressure (psychological) changes, negative psychological scores and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results According to the comparison of data results, the diastolic blood pressure, systolic blood pressure and psychological index of the observation group were higher than those of the control group; the prognostic anxiety (SAI) and depression (CES-D) scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group; the four satisfaction scores were higher than those of the control group, P<0.05. Conclusion By applying preoperative psychological intervention nursing to patients with thyroid cancer during the clinical treatment, the blood pressure and psychological fluctuations of patients can be effectively stabilized, the adverse psychological state can be gradually relieved, and the nursing satisfaction can be improved, which has a high clinical application value.
