Cough is a respiratory disease with a high clinical incidence, especially in pediatrics. Children are young, and the functions of their organs are not fully developed. In addition, they are affected by seasonal factors and sudden changes in temperature, which leads to coughing. In addition, childrens coughs are recurrent, which brings great pain to children and affects their normal physical and mental development. In recent years, pediatric massage has been gradually applied to the treatment of pediatric cough and has achieved good results. As a common external treatment method in traditional Chinese medicine, pediatric massage has the advantage of reducing the side effects of drugs and avoiding the fear of treatment in children, thereby improving the degree of treatment cooperation and higher acceptance of children and their families. This article mainly reviews the progress of pediatric massage in the nursing of children with cough.
