Objective To analyze the impact of behavior change nursing on complications and satisfaction of patients undergoing cervical cancer radical surgery. Methods Fifty eight patients who underwent radical surgery for cervical cancer and were admitted to our hospital from December 2023 to July 2024 were selected as the observation subjects. The patients were randomly divided into a control group (29 cases) and an observation group (29 cases). The control group received routine nursing care, while the observation group received behavior change nursing care. The incidence of postoperative complications and patient satisfaction with nursing care were compared between the two groups of patients. Results After nursing, the incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the patient satisfaction with nursing was higher. The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Behavioral transformation nursing has a significant effect on patients undergoing cervical cancer radical surgery, effectively reducing the incidence of postoperative complications, improving patient satisfaction with nursing care, and promoting postoperative recovery process. It is worth promoting and applying in clinical practice.
