Objective To analyze the application of nursing measures based on the concept of accelerated rehabilitation surgery in the clinical nursing plan of rectal cancer patients with anal preservation. Methods 80 patients with rectal cancer who received anal sphincter preservation treatment between January 2022 and December 2023 were included in the experimental study. Then, they were randomly divided into a control group (n=40) receiving routine nursing care and an observation group (n=40) receiving nursing measures based on the concept of accelerated rehabilitation surgery. Compare the rehabilitation process and postoperative complications between two groups of patients. Results After nursing, the prognosis of the observation group was better than that of the control group, and the incidence of complications was lower. The comparison of indicators was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of nursing based on the concept of accelerated rehabilitation surgery in the clinical nursing plan for rectal cancer patients can accelerate the patients recovery process, promote early recovery, and reduce the probability of complications, benefiting patients in multiple aspects. The patient has a good nursing experience and recognizes nursing services.
