Objective To analyze the practical value of using San Ren Tong Fu Tang combined with thermosensitive moxibustion to improve constipation in patients with advanced esophageal cancer after neoadjuvant surgery; Methods In the form of a retrospective study, 50 patients with neoadjuvant advanced esophageal cancer admitted to our hospital from January 2024 to June 2024 were selected. All of them underwent esophageal cancer radical surgery and experienced varying degrees of constipation symptoms after surgery. Divided into an experimental group and a control group using random number method, the control group was treated with nasal feeding Shouhui Tongbian Capsules, while the experimental group was treated with Sanren Tongfu Decoction combined with thermosensitive moxibustion. The constipation situation and clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared; Results The experimental group showed significant improvement in indicators such as defecation frequency and defecation time (P<0.05). At 24 and 48 hours after treatment, the experimental group showed better clinical syndrome scores than the control group (P<0.05); Conclusion The application of San Ren Tong Fu Tang combined with thermosensitive moxibustion can effectively alleviate constipation symptoms and improve treatment efficacy in patients with advanced esophageal cancer after neoadjuvant surgery, thereby improving the quality of patient prognosis.
