Objective To investigate the effects of continuous care of precise classification on self-care ability, quality of life and stomy complications in patients with enterostomy. Methods A total of 60 patients with enterostomy admitted to our hospital from September 2023 to March 2025 were randomly selected as the study objects and divided into control group and observation group according to the difference in nursing mode, with 30 cases in each group. The control group (given routine care) and the observation group (given accurate classified continuous care) were compared to compare the nursing effects of the two groups. Results After nursing, the self-care ability of observation group was higher than that of control group (P < 0.05). The average score of quality of life in observation group was significantly higher (P < 0.05). The complications in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (p < 0.05). Conclusion The use of accurate classification of continuous care in the care of enterostomy patients has significant effects, improves patients self-care ability and quality of life, reduces the incidence of stomy complications, and is worthy of further clinical promotion.
