Objective To investigate and analyze the practical effects of applying nursing risk management in comprehensive internal medicine nursing, and to evaluate and summarize the results. Methods In this medical study, the time range was from February 2024 to May 2025. During this period, 196 patients who received comprehensive internal medicine nursing in our hospital were selected to participate in this medical research observation. They were divided into a control group of 99 patients and an observation group of 97 patients. Routine nursing management was provided in the nursing work of the two groups of patients, and nursing risk management was implemented in the observation group of patients. The actual nursing results of the two groups of patients were compared. Results Through statistical comparison of nursing results, it was found that the nursing satisfaction of patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05), and the incidence of nursing risk events was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). The inter group comparison had corresponding statistical significance. Conclusion Implementing nursing risk management in comprehensive internal medicine nursing can effectively reduce the occurrence of nursing risk events and improve patient satisfaction with nursing care.
