Objective To explore the impact of bundled nursing on the treatment effect and prognosis of neonatal respiratory distress syndrome. Methods A total of 80 neonates with respiratory distress syndrome admitted to our hospital from January 2024 to January 2025 were selected as the research subjects. They were grouped according to the random number method based on the differences in nursing models. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group implemented bundled nursing on the basis of routine nursing. The differences in mechanical ventilation - related measurement standards, nursing satisfaction, and the proportion of complications were compared between the two groups. Results Neonates in the observation group had fewer times of using pulmonary surfactant, achieved higher levels of blood oxygen saturation, and had reduced mechanical ventilation time and hospital stay days. Compared with the control group, the observation group had significantly higher satisfaction with nursing services. Compared with the control group, the observation group had a lower trend of complications (P < 0.05). Conclusion The bundled nursing strategy can significantly improve the curative effect of neonates with respiratory distress syndrome, shorten the mechanical ventilation and hospital stay duration, optimize blood gas conditions, reduce the risk of complications, show a good prognosis, and has clinical promotion value.
