【Abstract】Objective: The influence mechanism of bilateral deep brain electrical stimulation of the subthalamic nucleus on the mental state, cognitive function and sleep quality of patients with Parkinsons disease (PD). Methods: From January 2017 to December 2020 in our hospital, 80 patients with Parkinsons disease were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into two groups according to the random number table method. The control group was treated with pramipexole hydrochloride in 40 patients, and the observation group Forty patients were treated with bilateral deep brain stimulation therapy (STN-DBS) in the subthalamic nucleus. The mental state, cognitive function, and sleep quality of the two groups were compared. Results:After treatment, the Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA), Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD), total quality of night sleep, insomnia, energy recovery after sleep, and daytime sleepiness in the observation group were lower than those in the control group. The Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale (MoCA) ), the Concise Mental State Scale (MMSE) score was higher than that of the control group (P＜0.05).Conclusion: On the basis of pramipexole hydrochloride, the treatment of bilateral deep brain stimulation of the subthalamic nucleus can effectively improve the patients clinical symptoms, and promote the improvement of cognitive function and sleep quality by improving the patients mental state.
