【Abstract】Objective To investigate the effects of olanzapine and aripiprazole on sleep quality and psychosocial symptoms in patients with schizophrenia. Methods 105 schizophrenic patients admitted to our department from June 2018 to June 2020 were divided into two groups by lotting. 52 patients in control group were given oral olanzapine, and 53 patients in combined group were given oral olanzapine combined with aripiprazole. All treated for 3 months continuously. The levels of sleep quality, plasma and serum related indexes, psycho-behavioral symptom indexes before treatment were compared. Results After 3 months, the score of Behave AD scale, positive and negative scale, the sleeping time, sleep efficiency, sleep time, use of hypnotic drugs in Pittsburgh sleep quality rating scale (PSQI) score and serum S100B level in the combined group were lower than control group, and serum BDNF was higher than control group.(P < 0.05), and there was no difference in plasma leptin and neuropeptide Y levels (P > 0.05). Conclusion Olanzapine combined with arify can effectively regulate serum S100B, BDNF and plasma leptin, neuropeptide Y levels in patients with schizophrenia, improve sleep quality and mental behavioral symptoms.
