Objective To explore the significance and effect of cognitive-psychological-social support three-dimensional nursing model on patients with Wagner stage 2-4 diabetic foot. Methods 70 patients with Wagner stage 2-4 diabetic foot were selected from our hospital between May 2022 and May 2023. The above patients were divided into two groups (control group and observation group) by random number table method, with 35 cases in each group. The control group received traditional standard nursing while the observation group introduced cognitive-psychological-social support three-dimensional nursing model intervention on the basis of traditional standard nursing model. The changes in wound healing status, quality of life, negative emotions and self-care ability were statistically analyzed in both groups before and after intervention. Results After intervention, the total effective rate of wound healing in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.05). The scores of Diabetes Specific Quality of Life Scale (DSQL) and Exercise of Self-Care Agency Scale (ESCA) in both groups were significantly increased after intervention, and the increases were higher in observation group (P<0.05). The scores of Irritability, Depression and Anxiety Scale (IDA) were significantly reduced in both groups after intervention, and the reductions in observation group were lower compared with those in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The implementation of cognitive-psychological-social support three-dimensional nursing model for patients with Wagner stage 2-4 diabetic foot can effectively accelerate the wound healing, improve the quality of life, alleviate the negative emotions, and help to enhance the self-care ability.
