【Abstract】 Objective To explore the risk factors of depression in caregivers of children with allergic purpura. 【Methods】 A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 106 caregivers of children with allergic purpura admitted to our hospital from November 2020 to December 2021. After admission, the degree of depression was evaluated using the Self Rating Depression Scale (SDS). According to the scoring results, the caregivers were divided into an unconsolidated group (n=66) and a combined group (n=40). Compare the differences between two sets of general data [child gender, age, caregiver gender, age, education level, average monthly family income], as well as coping styles, disease uncertainty parents scale (PPUS), and social support rating scale (SSRS), and analyze the risk factors of depression in caregivers of children with allergic purpura through multiple logistic regression analysis. 【Results】 The unmerged group had an average monthly income of less than 4000 yuan in terms of college education and family background, a lower proportion of negative coping strategies, and a lower PPUS score than the merged group. The SSRS score was higher than the merged group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that college education and below, average monthly income of families less than 4000 yuan, negative coping, PPUS score, and SSRS score were risk factors for depression in caregivers of HSP children, with all P<0.05.【Conclusion】 Caregivers of HSP children with depression are influenced by many factors, including college education and below, average monthly family income of less than 4000 yuan, negative coping, PPUS score, and SSRS score, which can predict caregivers with depression, and should be closely monitored in clinical practice.
