[Abstract] Objective To explore the influence of psychosocial factors on post-dialysis fatigue in uremic patients. Methods Eighty-two uremic dialysis patients from June 2020 to June 2023 were included, and the revised piper fatigue scale (RPFS) was selected for post-dialysis fatigue assessment. Psychosocial information such as patients work situation, social support level, anxiety and depression were investigated and categorized. A one-way analysis of relevant information and fatigue scores was performed, and information with significant differences in the one-way analysis was included in a multiple stepwise regression analysis. Results The RPFS score of 82 patients was (5.76±1.28). The difference in RPFS scores between patients with different working conditions, social support, level of psychological resilience, and whether or not there was a combination of depression, anxiety, and sleep disorders was statistically significant (P<0.05). Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that on-the-job, social support, psychological elasticity, depression, and sleep disorders were the influencing factors of post-dialysis fatigue. Conclusion Patients with uremia generally have moderate postdialysis fatigue, and psychosocial factors such as being on the job, low social support, and depression may exacerbate postdialysis fatigue.
