[Abstract] Objective: To explore the value of providing comprehensive nursing interventions for patients undergoing thoracoscopic radical resection of lung cancer in improving their negative emotions during anesthesia recovery period. Method: A total of 112 patients diagnosed with lung cancer through relevant examinations in our hospital from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected. They were divided into odd or even groups based on their hospitalization numbers. 56 patients were included in the control group for routine care, while 56 patients were included in the observation group for comprehensive nursing intervention. Analyze the negative emotions of patients before and after nursing, analyze their rehabilitation indicators and pain levels, and record the incidence of complications. Result: After comprehensive nursing intervention, the anxiety and depression scores recorded in the observation group of 56 patients were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05); The pain score recorded in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05); The consciousness recovery time, bedtime activity time, and catheter retention time recorded in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05); The incidence of complications recorded in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The application of comprehensive nursing intervention in postoperative care of thoracoscopic lung cancer radical surgery can improve negative emotions and physiological stress reactions during anesthesia recovery, thereby reducing the incidence of complications and improving overall prognosis.
