【Abstract】Objective The influence factors of relapse in elderly patients with schizophrenia and its correlation with nutritional status. Methods Retrospective analysis from January 2022 to December 2022 in our hospital for treatment of the clinical data of 130 cases of elderly patients with schizophrenia, with 1 year follow-up of all patients, based on the Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (Brief informed Rating Scale,Results They were divided into relapse group (n=43) and non-relapse group (n=87).Nutritional Risk Screening2002 (NRS2002) and mini-nutritional assessment (MNA) scores were compared between the two groups.Multivariate Logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of relapse in elderly schizophrenia. Results The proportion of body mass index (BMI) < 25kg/m2, disease course ≥5 years, positive family history, drug noncompliance, NRS2002≥3 points, MNA < 24 points in relapse group was higher than that in non-relapse group (P < 0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis confirmed that BMI < 25kg/m2, duration ≥5 years, positive family history, non-compliance, NRS2002≥3 points, MNA < 24 points were all risk factors for relapse of elderly schizophrenia, all with P < 0.05.Conclusion The BMI, duration, family history, medication adherence and nutrition are the influence factors of patients with recurrence, patients with malnutrition will increase the risk of recurrence, should focus on the patients with nutritional imbalance, take timely intervention measures to reduce the possibility of recurrence.
