[Abstract] Objective: To explore the effects of psychological nursing and health education on postoperative quality of life in patients with laparoscopic gastric cancer. Methods: From December 2022 to February 2024, 62 patients with laparoscopic gastrectomy were selected for clinical study, and the cases were divided into 31 cases by random number table method. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was combined with psychological nursing and health education. The scores of quality of life, coping style, uncertainty of disease, self-efficacy, hope level and nursing satisfaction before and after nursing of the two groups were statistically analyzed and compared. Results: Before nursing, the quality of life score, coping style score, disease uncertainty score, self-efficacy score and hope level score of the two groups were compared, and the result was (P > 0.05). After 2 weeks of nursing, the results showed that the quality of life score, coping style score, disease uncertainty score, self-efficacy score and hope level score in the observation group were better than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Before nursing and 2 weeks after nursing, the results showed that after 2 weeks of nursing, quality of life score, coping style score, disease uncertainty score, self-efficacy score and hope level score were better than before nursing (P < 0.05). After 2 weeks of nursing, the nursing satisfaction of observation group was higher than that of control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The combined implementation of psychological nursing and health education can improve the quality of life, coping style, disease uncertainty, self-efficacy, hope level, and nursing satisfaction in patients with laparoscopic gastric cancer resection, and has significant clinical application value.
