[Abstract] Objective To investigate the effect of Donepezil hydrochloride on vascular dementia patients with psychobehavioral symptoms. Methods Ninety-eight patients with vascular dementia with psychobehavioral symptoms were selected from the Department of Neurology of our hospital from October 2020 to October 2022, and divided into groups according to the lottery method. 49 cases in the control group were treated with olanzapine, while 49 cases in the observation group were treated with Donepezil hydrochloride. Mental and behavioral disorders, hemorheological indexes, inflammatory factor levels and adverse reactions were compared. Result: There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05); Post treatment observation group BPRS, CMAI score, whole blood viscosity, hematocrit, fibrinogen, TNF- α、 The levels of IL-6 and IL-8 were lower than the control group, and the BSSD score was higher than the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion: The combination of donepezil hydrochloride and olanzapine can effectively improve hemodynamics, reduce inflammatory reactions and mental behavioral disorders in patients with vascular dementia accompanied by psychological and behavioral symptoms, and has high safety.
