Abstract: Objective: To explore the clinical effects of implementing psychological behavioral therapy in children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and its impact on their mental and psychological well-being. Method: A study was conducted on 80 children with ADHD admitted to the hospital between March 2021 and March 2023. Based on the "random number table method", a 1:1 standardized grouping was conducted. 40 cases of ADHD conventional treatment were included in the control group, and 40 cases of ADHD conventional treatment and psychological behavioral intervention were included in the observation group. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared The Chinese Version of Swanson Nolan and Pelham (SNAP-IV) Scale for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and the Conners Parent Symptom Questionnaire (PSQ) score. Result: Compared with the control group, the clinical total effective rate of the observation group was higher (P<0.05); After treatment, the SNAP IV scores in both groups showed a downward trend, and the observation group showed more significant changes (P<0.05); After treatment, the PSQ scores of both groups were lower than before treatment, and the observation group showed a more significant decrease (P<0.05). Conclusion: Psychological and behavioral intervention is beneficial for alleviating core symptoms in children with ADHD, significantly improving their condition, and providing definite clinical efficacy.
