Objective To analyze the impact and effectiveness of breast-conserving surgery in clinical treatment plans for breast cancer patients. Methods The data of 40 breast cancer patients who received breast-conserving surgery in our hospital from January 2020 to December 2020 were retrospectively collected and analyzed. They were set as the observation group, and then the data of 40 breast cancer patients in our hospital from January 2019 to December 2020 were retrospectively collected and analyzed. Data on 40 breast cancer patients who underwent conventional radical surgery in December 2019 were set as the control group. The patients were followed up for 3 years to compare the postoperative complication rate, 3-year survival rate, and local recurrence rate. At the same time, The postoperative breast appearance scores and postoperative quality of life of the two groups of patients were compared. Results After follow-up of all patients, it was found that there was no statistically significant difference in the 3-year survival rate and local recurrence rate between the two groups (P﹥0.05). The probability of postoperative complications, breast appearance score and FACT-B quality of life score of breast cancer patients in the observation group were better than those in the control group, and the index comparison was statistically significant (P﹤0.05). Conclusion Compared with conventional radical surgery, breast-conserving therapy has no significant difference in survival rate and recurrence rate. However, breast-conserving therapy has low complication rate and has significant advantages in preserving the appearance of female breasts. It can improve patients self-confidence and improve their quality of life. improve.
