Objective To clarify the effectiveness of applying the clinical pathway teaching model to psychiatric internship teaching. Methods A total of 28 interns who received internship teaching in the psychiatric department of the hospital from August 2023 to August 2024 were included in the study. After randomly numbering each patient, they were randomly selected into a control group and an observation group, with 14 cases in each group. The control group received routine teaching mode, while the observation group received clinical pathway teaching mode. The effectiveness of different teaching methods was compared and analyzed. Results showed that the control group had lower data values for teaching effectiveness, indicating that the observation group had better teaching effectiveness (P<0.05). The control group had lower data values for teaching quality, indicating that the observation group had better teaching quality (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of clinical pathway teaching mode in psychiatric internship teaching is conducive to improving the quality and effectiveness of teaching, which is of great significance for cultivating excellent talents in psychiatry.
